The number of Coronavirus cases continues to rise globally, and of late, several celebrities also tested positive for COVID-19. Celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Zoa Morani, Kanika Kapoor and others were also infected with the virus, after which they underwent treatment and eventually recovered from it. Now, according to reports on the Internet, actress Tamannaah Bhatia has tested positive for Coronavirus, and she is admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad.

According to a report in ETimes, Tamannaah was in Hyderabad for the past few days, where she was shooting for a web series. She recently showed some symptoms of COVID-19 and her test result came out positive. The report stated that she was then rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad for COVID-19 treatment. Her fans and well-wishers took to their social media to wish her a speedy recovery. Back in August, the actress had shared that her parents had tested positive for COVID-19, however, she had tested negative.

In August, Tamannaah had shared a statement on social media that read, “My parents were showing mild Covid-19 symptoms over the weekend and as a precautionary measure everyone at home underwent tests immediately. The results have just come in, and unfortunately my parents have tested positive. The necessary authorities have been updated of their situation and we are complying with the precautionary guidelines.”

On the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia will next be seen in ‘Bole Chudiyan’ which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kabir Duhan Singh. Bole Chudiyan is directed by Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas Siddiqui.
